Should I get this fender dented or leave it like that?
I bought a bmw x1 just about a month ago and some idiot hit my front right bender while turning. The dent was pretty light and the paint wasnt cracked so I got my driver to do some dry denting and this is what it looks like now. I could either leave it like this and ot I could get full on conventional denting-painting done to make it look perfect. what do you guys suggest?

Hard to tell anything from the pic. I'd get a paintless dent repair tech to fix it as best he can and then leave it alone. Repaint as a last resort and only if you can't stand to look at it.

Note that even with no cracks, the paint will be weakened and may develop cracks later. Worst case, cracks that you don't notice, which rust starts festering under.
That happened to one of my cars with a similar ding. |

You may want to try dry ice (search the Internet) or compressed air and hair dryer. I think you spray the spot then hit it with the hair dryer and spots like that pop out without hurting the paint. There are videos demonstrating it, if it were my X I'd try it before spending a ton of money. The compressed air is safer if you don't want to freeze your fingers, I think you can buy the cans for a couple dollars at office supply stores.
I'm pretty sure this is how they take out hail damage.

HBWT, my guy already did an paintless dent removal an the pic shows what it looks after that. However, as it is a new car i want it to look perfect hence I was contemplating total repaint but I think I ll let it be as it is hardly visible. thanks

Does auto insurance work differently in India? A full fender repair is relatively expensive and the other driver and/or his insurance should pay for it.

I could get the whole fender dented and painted for 125 USD from a BMW workshop. I just wanted to know if its worth the hassle for such an unnoticeable mark left after painless dent removal.
