Decisions, Decisions!!!.......
Had a 1.9 Z3, a 2.5 Z3 and a Z3 M Roadster, now I am wanting another 2 seat roadster. I love the look of the new Z4 (saw one at the dealer), but a little disappointed with the handling as tested by the magazines. Currently have the new M3 so I don't really need M like characteristics, plus I am sure it feels great on mountain roads none the less. Given the price I am deciding between it and the Boxster S. I think on looks and everything else I am leaning toward the BMW. I guess it is more a very sporty cruiser than full tilt sports car like the Porsche. Now if they make an M version it is a no brainer, but I suppose I can get close with mods. Thoughts?

I would go with P car since you already have a M.

THis is a tough choice because you will always feel like you have a baby porsche if you go with the Boxster. And I have driven the Boxster and my Z4M and there is no way I would want the Boxster. You sit way to far forward and what's with the stupid exhaust pipe coming smack out of the middle of the ass end. Makes it look like a sphincter.

Based on your post, it sounds to me that you still want a car with sports car performance. Go with the Porsche. The Z4 is a luxury cruiser. The Z4 30i with adaptive suspension that I drove doesn't handle as well as my E92 with sports suspension and has a softer ride.

Yes, you sit further forward in the Boxster because the Boxster is a mid engine vehicle. Which just happens to be the best place to have the engine.
