I usually stay at Caesars cuz it's pretty central to the strip...
However, I think next time I go I'm going to stay at Mandalay Bay just because they have a nicer pool area and a bigger nicer room for the money. The trade-off is it's way at the end of the strip, but that doesn't matter much if I drive there. If you want to spend less but be central to the strip you can stay at Imperial Palace..but it's a pretty ghetto hotel. |

Caesar is a good spot, same for Flamingo. The Wynn and Venetian are balls out and since you haven't been in four years you may want to. Hard Rock is a awesome hotel and a hot spot for young people, but it's off the strip. Everyone tries to get in the pool there. If you're gonna go swimming during the day I recommend getting a cabana to relax at the pool.

i dont think wynn is all that great. I stayed there a few times and I can post pictures of their room.
My favorite on the strip place is TheHotel Mandalay ... its the best lay out if you get the room with 2 queens. Only problem is its at the end of the strip. THere are tons of summer deals going on right now, and even some weekends are cheap. Tell me the place and I can try and help u find a "deal" Usually the website deals are just "okay" I have pretty much stayed at the standard rooms in vegas on the strip and near strip and a few of the upgraded rooms. If you go with a bunch of people, id suggest getting a large suite at a "lesser" hotel. If you want to go to a name brand hotel... venetian and THeHotel has the largest rooms. i use to go 2x a mnth, now i only go 1x a mnth fk |

TheHotel at mandalay bay is pretty bad ass. but the only probelm with mandalay bay is the wave pool is so nice EVRYONE is there. last time i was there it was so damn crowded there wasnt even a place to put down my towel. so we had to go to the ghey second pool. unless youre going on a weekday id say go elsewhere.
i just got back from the Hard Rock and i had a blast . ive stayed at the belagio, ventian, hell even the IP (BTW IP is the best place to gamble people get all crazy over 10 bucks it makes gambling fun esp. playing craps here) but i had to most fun here. they have a thing called rehab on sunday AMs and its pretty much a giant pool party (BTW pool is one of the best here also). and the food here is awesome too. Pink Taco had some great margairtas and carne asada and Nobu was the best sushi i had in my life. plus we had a table right next to All-American rejects so that was pretty cool. oh yeah...one lat thing there are so many hotties here its amazing...that is all. one down side: its off the strip...but its 110+ anywyas so you wouldnt be walking anyhow. |

Wynn would be sweet...I just checked expedia flight and hotel from Tampa to Vegas and three nights in the Wynn $1929, granted that was the year the depression hit and I would be fuccin broke after doing that, plus I am willing to bet the table minimums on Fri/Sat would at $25. For that same weekend you can stay at Bellagio for $1229, which saves you $700 bucks for gambling, mods, hookers, whatever....my 2cents

Stayed at the Bellagio last year. I expected more from what people say, and after being on "Ocean's Eleven". The reception is always crowed with people. Was not immpressed with service AT ALL, though the room they gave me was incredible, (view of the lake). Stayed at MGM in 2002 with a jr. suite, and found it to be a better "Las Vegas" experience.

It depends if you are single or going with a wife/girlfriend. If you are single the Hard Rock is the ONLY place to stay. Younger crowd and Hot Girls everynight night, especially on Sunday Night (plus huge pool party every Sunday). Hard Rock is going to get you on price. We just went and it was $350 a night, but we signed up for players card's and got two out of three night's comp'd.
If you are going with a wife/girlfriend Bellagio is nice, the WYNN is ok. If you play poker, MGM has a great poker room, you don't have to wait that long to play. |

I'm going out weekend of August 9th. We usually stay at New York New York. Pretty fair rates and nice Pool. Were just a bunch of single guys, so all we care about is pool w/great views and place to sleep.
