Coolant type I should use

Hi everyone

I want to know what kind of coolant should I add to my bmw x1 2014 sdrive 20i.

From my google result, it should be bmw g48 (blue one).

However, I saw the coolant from car is kind of orange fluid.

I need to top it up now, what should I do now? Top up with the orange one or change it completely with blue one?

I use genuine BMW coolant - G48 (blue) at a 50:50 mix with water for my 2015 xDrive28i. If I were you, I’d flush out the old and fill it w the new

Blue stuff. Someone before you didn't and who knows what they used. Could be Dexcool for all you know.

I'd flush and stick w/ the blue/OE stuff.

BMW OEM coolant or a Euro-specification coolant (green).

Make sure to use distilled water, not just tap.

I just refilled mine with the blue stuff pre-diluted but not BMW brand its from peak
