Advice on cleaning microfiber towels

I've been using the rag company gauntlet towel to dry. The first time using them they literally soaked everything up and left no streaks. After washing them via washing machine in warm water, then hang drying, they are leaving streaks and not doing as well soaking up the water. They still do an ok job, but just not to the level when they were fresh out the box

Any recommendations?

Use dryer to dry them most important
No fabric softener if that was used

I use laundry detergent enhancer from ChemicalGuys. You use your regular non-softener detergent plus add a cap of the product. It will strip anything left on the towels from car washing or waxing. Seems to work.

+1 for Rags to Riches. For less expensive alternative try this for < $26/gallon.

I also have been using Chemical Guys Microfiber Wash and it is a great product. In fact, I used it to wash some really filthy microfiber towels today and they came out totally clean and soft as can be.

You wash the towels in a hot water setting and then dry the towels in low heat.

I dried using fryer on delicate cycle couple times and started hanging drying because that didn't yield results I wanted. Also, I never use fabric softener.

Thanks for all the reply guys! I guess an added solution to open up the fibers sounds like my next logical step to try (I'm guessing that's what those items in the pics do), but I'll have to research a bit. I'll probably try the P&S first since I already use their products.

Soak in mixture of dawn dish wash and water. Wring out and rinse then wash with a desicated MF wash and dry. Fixed

I've used the CG Microfiber Wash for almost nearly 10 years. So far so good!

Throw them away and start over. I never reuse a microfiber towel on paint, ever.

From my experience, all the towels don't feel anywhere the same after wash. New towels work much better. Washed towels are only really good for windows/wheels/interior.

Nothing special. Inspect towels prior to wash and toss any with hard contamination. I just use Tide free and Gentle on Delicate wash.

Dry on delicate or gentle cycle. inspect and fold.
