Dr. Beasleys Matte Bead Hero Review

I've been waiting for a product like this for frozen paint, and matte PPF.

The product is like a hydrophobic 'ceramic wax' for you matte finish which maintains the matte look, but makes the paint super smooth and makes water bead right off!

I ordered this as soon as it was announced last week, and got to test it out tonight.

My frozen pure grey II paint has full STEK dynomatte PPF. I read this product works just as good on matte PPF, as it does on bare matte paint.

I first washed and dried the car. I then sprayed each panel and wiped it off with several light passes. Application is no different than say using a spray wax or bead maker. I did each panel at a time. What I noticed after applying and wiping off the product was that the panel was a lot smoother to the touch. Water definitely beaded off a lot better than an untreated panel. There are several areas on on my car which does not have PPF, such as the door handles, and door jambs, etc.. I treated those areas as well, and got the same smooth feel after the fact.

The only thing I didn't like is after owning many Dr Beasleys products, this one has an unusual vinegar like scent. Not terrible, but nothing like their other products.

Bonus is this is supposed to keep the car cleaner, longer too.

Overall very impressed with Matte Bead Hero.

That's a great result. The vinegar smell you described, as well as the hydrophobic properties sounds very similiar to a product I used on my Frozen Black M6 made in Germany called Nanolex Si3D Matte.
