Not a Mustang but female Schall in the 'all girls' 146 WS Racing 911 hit the smoking 900 Falcon GT3 Cup 911 narrowly avoiding driver Hardt who had exited and was trying to warn others while waiting for a fire extinguisher handler.
While Schall was let off (racing incident) by track stewards her car was too heavily damaged to be repaired with a broken chassis and withdrawn from the coming race as well as the 900 car also.

Cruel but b/c of this MAX's car can carry 121 litres of petrol outmatching Audi and BMW, meaning extended stint lengths and strategic flexibility especially when the heavens open up and slippery track.
