First post btw
I just got mine last week. Got it with 30242 miles. 2013 xDrive35i M Sport with lots of options for a really good price. I think I put about 200 miles on it so far. I used to drive 13k miles a year but I now take the bus or subway going to work (NYC) since its impractical to drive. Should be even less than 6000 miles a year I think. Bought it new 01OCT2013 and have ~92k on it today. A few issues, but I'll keep her. Still a blast to drive, especially with the Continental ExtremeContact DSW 06 UHP tires on it.

I have 117097 km on my 2014 X1 x28i and i just replaced the plugs and my front o2 sensor went out. My panoramic sun roof got stuck in the winter, but once it got warm, it seemed to work again.
other than that, not to shabby. |

I've had my 2013 X1 sDrive28i since July 2013; just passed 4 years with her. Right now I have just about 72,000 miles, and it's been an adventure.
So far there have been no major failures, but I have had some oddities: - I had the gas tank, filler lines, and some carbon canister replaced because I couldn't fill the gas tank without stopping and starting every gallon or so. This was by far the biggest headache, as it took 18 months and 3 dealers to actually fix it. Some of the previous fixes before the final "big fix" would remedy the problem for a month or so before acting up again. - Handbrake was replaced once, as it started to slip when being applied occasionally. The "clicking" would skip and I'd have to pull harder. Very odd. - My driver's side seat upholstery (black SensaTec) cracked slightly and was replaced. - Thermostat (like many others) was replaced earlier this year. BMW NA just sent out 10y/100k thermostat warranty extensions because they're faulty. - Front brake pads replaced just a few weeks ago. Rear pads and all rotors are almost like new. - Lastly, I've had my license plate bracket fall off once. The dealer fixed it 3 years ago and I haven't had a problem since. - Just about to put on my 3rd set of tires. They're Michelin run-flats. My car and I have been through a lot over the past couple years. Sometimes I wish I'd gotten a Toyota like my parents have always had, but this has been SO much more fun. |

I have a 2015. Got it new in Sept 2015 and have put on 44,500 km. No issues. Thinking about tuning it but may wait until after the warranty expires.
I usually drive mine in comfort mode (to save on the gas) although sport is much more fun. Just wondering if anyone keeps theirs in sport most of the time and have had any mechanical issues as a result? |

Our other car is a Toyota. Guess which one I prefer to drive? ;-) I don't mind the other one too much tho.

My X1
Purchased in January 2016 as a CPO. Current mileage is 51000. Other than the comfort access handle failing and my front differential failing it is running strong and I love the ride and technology.

Love the red! I really want to buy the mats with the red trim, but I can't find them in any part catalogue.

2015 xDrive 28i SportLine 69,000 km. Need to replace original RFT Pirellis. I run winter tires 5 months of the year. Will switch to non-run flat Michelin Pilots. This car has had near zero issues (one flat), perhaps the best I've ever owned. A blast to drive, practical, cheap to run.
