http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...lar=Sport+Line They're all over the place. Usually, you have to special order them, so it takes a couple weeks. Anyway...good luck... Prioritizing 20" wheels over a proper suspension. Uggg...giving BMW owners a bad name...as if we needed any help.

I've found its far cheaper to get a box in the States and ship there. Then when picking up there are no import fees, just taxes. And you can avoid taxes if you go for longer trips.
As an example, I'm looking at picking up support springs for the trunk to reduce the spring rate and make the trunk easier to open/close. They're $150 CAD each at the dealership vs $70-75 USD online. |

I've done some research and you guys are right. I really want to replace the shocks now. Tuner Motorsport only has the rears why is that?
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-22...xdrive35i.aspx If I only did the rears for now would that be a bad thing? |

So guys I get my springs in today and I'm installing them this weekend. I know the fronts have the bolts inside the engine bay but do the rears have the same thing? Or when I pull the rear strut assembly down the spring just falls out?
Just want to be prepared |

No struts in the rear, just shocks. In order to get enough droop travel to get the old spring out/new spring in, you'll have to remove the bottom nut on the shock at the lower shock mount, as well as remove the lower arm bolt at the knuckle. Like this (note, shock removed in that pic, but you 'll leave yours attached up top if you're not swapping them out (yet ).

Ask them for more info. What do they mean won't fit? What's the problem?

That's really odd though. Ask the shop to read you off the part number on the rear springs.

The springs are blue correct? The big ones in the front and smaller ones in the rear? |

Really, really odd that you received the wrong rears.

Call the shop, have them read the part number off of the spring for you already! And/or a picture of the spring if possible.

They are sending out the right ones as we speak. As for my car, the shop did the front first so instead of taking them out they use other lowering springs they had in the shop until the right ones arrived. Looks so good!!! |
