BMS Stage 1 N20: Will it fit?
I might be able to get my hands on a BMS Stage 1 for N20. This came off a 2014 F30 328. Will it plug and play on my 2015 X1 28xi?

I know the tune is different for the X1 and the Stage1 doesnt allow you to update the firmware. i would not try to install and turn the car on without speaking to someone at Burger.
i have a 2015 stage1 CPU(blackbox only), i upgraded to JB4 Stage2 but kept my harness from the stage 1. Will let it got for $175 if you are interested, you can use the harness from your friends stage 1 tune since they are all the same for the N20's. Its really easy to install, 3 plugs and done. |

It will fit, but the wiring may be too short. The F30 box placement is much different than where the box goes in the X1.
For the performance of the stage 1, you may as well pass. It's not worth it. May as well dump the extra money on the JB4.

Thanks for the insight Twix. I'd emailed Jon at Burger and he says it's the same part. We'll see.
I just picked up a used stage 1 for $250 shipped. Since it's my wife's car and we simply want a hair more punch, let's hope this Stage 1 mod suffices.
