Gee, we drove from Toronto down to Florida and back, and no one seemed to notice.

I have seen one in October in Pittsburgh, a dark blue or black I believe. And I just saw another today actually, silver. |

Zero in central Indiana
I'm excited by this thread as I've worked for GM most of my career and always bought Pontiac. Any car I've bought had many like it in my town. In about 5 weeks I'll have my first BMW and it is fun to contemplate having something fairly unique, at least for awhile.

From North Jersey and for the last 2 months I saw one in Jersey City, one in Harrison, one in Nutley and one more in Edison (all seem to have be a different x1). Plus my friend just got one. Am I lucky or maybe not!?

Saw one with dealer plates this morning, but the strange thing about it was that it was champagne coloured. Which I didn't think BMW offered for the X1?
Not too pretty, IMO, but others may like it. |

Are you sure it wasn't an X3? Oops, looks like they added Cashmere "Silver" to the color choices for the X1. At least I don't think that was offered initially.

I think it may have been! It was some Saturday afternoon downtown. Sharp looking car! If I was staying in the area past the new years I would suggest we all meet up since there are a bunch of us from Pittsburgh on the forums.

Well I saw two more within a few minutes of each other at a busy shopping mall. Glacier Silver then a White - not sure if Mineral or Alpine. White is white to me. Zzzzzzzz
So I think the days of the X1 seeming fairly rare in the Los Angeles area, at least, are numbered... |

I have never understood it, but around here, we have towns where a substantial part of the population drive certain brands. I think of a couple of them as Lexusville and Acuratown. And it's not due to the dealers being located there either, but apparently a desire to have the same car as one's neighbor. Heavens forbid if someone brought a red BMW into white Mercborough. |

Tons of X1s in Oregon? OK....
Here in L.A. area I just saw my 5th (outside of dealerships, obviously). And it was a loaner from South Bay BMW! Silver X1. A little surprised to see an X1 loaner at this point... |
