sDrive to xDrive
Now that my mineral grey/coral red M sport sDrive 28i is halfway across the Atlantic ocean and headed to the west coast, I have decided that I would rather have a xDrive 28i. The electric power versus hydraulic steering is pretty much the reason for the switch. I have also decided to go with Alpine white with the coral red and M Sport.
That said, anyone interested in a 2013 sDrive 28i, mineral grey/coral red, M Sport, 19" wheels, paddle shifters, lighting and premium packages might want to contact BMW of San Diego. I think it will reach the dealer right before Christmas. Last edited by Vertigo//SD; 11-25-2012 at 09:02 AM.. |

Both xDrive X1's have hydraulic power steering while the xDrive 28i has electronic power steering. To make it slightly more confusing, both 28i models have available Servotronic, which is standard on the 35i and is a variable rate assist for the steering.
