Personally, I think the X1 fits what a SAV should be. At first I thought the X3 was (the X5 is too big) but the more I see the X1 I think it would be the one I'd take if I were to go camping or something.

i was driving on the northway in upstate ny this morning and saw one from canada.. first time i've ever seen one and it actually didn't look bad.
i never thought they were very attractive in pics i've seen, but it looks pretty good in person

Nice pics! Can you post any with the Mini (or any other vehicle) to get a relative size difference? From the few you posted it doesn't look like the X1 is that much taller than the Mini.

I am anticipating the first results of the X1 in the USA.
The X1 has already proved to be a global success and adding the US quantity should take the X1 to unpredecented levels especially in the land where the SUV rules supreme.

I'm assuming those pictures are from Europe because those are not the wheels from the US press release.
