I guess we've come a long way in a year.
Last year, nobody even bothered to celebrate if they beat the Lions. This year, we get a whole thread when we lose. Movin' on up. |

They have a good defense and a good running game, along with a QB who (so far) has been pretty good about keeping the ball safe. They have a coach who loves to win. They're not impostors. As ridiculously out-of-line as Schwartz's reaction to Harbaugh was, I was glad to see it, as I saw a team with no emotion or heart in that fourth quarter. Someone needs to light a fire under Stafford's ass because right now he's acting like it's not his job to lose. He straight gave up at the end of that game, and any coach who doesn't literally ream him a new one in front of his teammates is a bad coach. I saw the old, loser Lions in that fourth quarter. It was not something I've seen in a while. Hopefully they get rid of that shit. |

impostors that have a first round bye, who are about to beat the Saints, who demolished the reigning AFC champ, who have the best Defensive front 7 in the league and one of the top overall Defenses in the league

week 6 or the divisional round of the playoffs it doesnt matter. The niners have stepped up and answered the question if they are a real threat in the NFL throughout the entire season. Everyone picked the saints to win this game because of their high powered offense. Well guess what Defense wins championships! i hope the Giants win tomorrow in GB so we can host the NFC championship game and beat the Giants again at home

The 49ers are a very good team well balanced, good coaching much better than I thought 3 months ago
You should be very happy that they made it to the NFC championship game and lost..who knows maybe next year they can do it again |

regardless of what happens on sunday. Both teams werent expected to be where they are and hats off to both of them. Giants were able to make it into the postseason with a brutal stretch in their schedule and the Niners were able to turn things around drastically with a new head coach and pretty much the same core of players. Considering there was no offseason this makes it even more amazing. I will be at the game on sunday and i was there when the Giants came into the stick in week 10. I respect the Giants and have always liked Eli. Hes now considered an elite qb in my book. Ive been a life long Niner fan but i just hope Sundays game will be as entertaining as the last time we played in the postseason.
