LCI headlights - what are they?
I'm new to the BMW world so I have little knowledge of the different accessories and acronyms. I've seen some references to LCI headlights around the forums, and was wondering what they are, exactly? Performing an image search on Google, I can't tell if they are the bi-xenon lights, halogen lights, or either, with the LED angel-eyes around them?
Any info? Example pics, possible? Thanks, -10d |

LCI = life cycle impulse.
this is the model refresh that BMW does with all of their models. whenever people talk about getting LCI headlights, tailights, etc. it just means they have one of the original design and want to update the look of their car to the current design. other examples of LCI updates include grills, taillights, side markers, rims, etc. as for your specific question of the LCI headlights... generally if you have a pre-LCI halogen, you can only update to a LCI-halogen... if it even can fit. this model refresh is something all car manufacturers do.
