Can you send me the link to the product page on getbmwparts.com? I can't find the correct one... By the way, does video and full album art work with the adapter? What about heat? You took standard USPS shipping to Can? |

Art and video works. Std shipping is fine. It does get warm in there. Usually don't leave it in at night.

+1 And at the last minute, ask that the Admin Fee be dropped. It's just profit for the dealer.

Thanks
Getting Nevada leather everything but comfort package. Buying cash. They tried to charge us $499 for tinting. We called them out on that...so graciously they are swallowing that cost and also giving another $1000. I know we could do better, but having never bought a BMW before I don't really know how the sales people operate. |

Get Comfort Access too. You won't regret it.

Comfort access is very useful since the current BMW starting procedure is 2 physical steps (1 key in fob, 2 press the separate start button), having the convenient of just pressing the start button and drive away is great especially at night. The Audi starting procedure is simpler, just key in fob n Push (in one action) to start. |

I just like that I don't have to worry about the key, the seat, the settings, etc. Just open the door, press Srart and drive!

I found the comfort access is cool, but i would rather take my time to check my surrounding to make sure there's no people around before I take off and run on them accidentaly.
I would say 99% of my time, I don't start my car and drive out immediately. How do you guys rate the visibility of the car? I think the waist line is quite high, backing up looking over the D pillar is almost blind. |

To paraphrase that famous line, "When you're in a BMW, what's behind you doesn't matter!". Seriously though, I don't find the outward visibility too bad. We have the PDC so at least we get an audible and visual warning if we're backing into something... The back-up cam should have been offered as an option. If you want to see (or NOT see, actually) really poor outward visibility, try backing up a 5 Series Grand Turismo! Thank goodness for the back-up cam in that, or it would be a complete disaster!

I'll post some pics eventually. I've been too lazy.
Does anyone know how to implement the newish iPod out feature? Is it an upgrade you have to do to the X1? |
