If it was my money I wouldn't bother. It is expensive (I've heard of people paying/being ripped off upwards of £500+ but most often around £300) and it really is not a one time, "never have to wax the car again" type solution. It will need maintenance. Often it's done badly leading to a substandard finish.

Honestly and IMHO, spend the money on some good quality car care products and you will be much better off doing it yourself, personal circumstances notwithstanding.

Have a search on the detailing world website for a whole truckload of guidance on quality car care.

save your money there are some good wash and wax products about you can use when washing the car. no amount of wax will prevent the paint from getting scratched.

I'd pay a professional detailer to perform a correction and apply a ceramic coating, which will actually last over a year.

Yeah, as mentioned, it seems like a bit of a con - not dissimilar to that "supaguard" shite.

A decent machine polish, seal and wax will be just as good if you wash the car regularly and also regularly give it a wax coat top up.
