Audio: CCC iDrive with MS8

Quick question...

I think I have confused myself by using the search, so looking for some simple clarification.

I currently have:

CCC to Alpine PDX 4/100 via a Gladen quadlock 2ch harness with remote wire tapped to the remote pin at the HU.

I think I have read for the MS8 to work correctly I need to have all 4 channels available as inputs for the MS8 to maintain PDC gongs correctly. Is this true or have I confused myself?

Does this mean I would need a 4channel harness? This would mean two sets of RCA outputs, which then would be summed back into the MS8?

This would obviously be a bit of a bastard as I would have to take everything back out again and buy some more kit.

Your help would be appreciated

Not with any confidence. I had to postpone the install as I had a cracked sump rob me of £1k.

Still on the hit list when I get a chance
