BMW LCI Halogen to LCI Xenon/Bixenon

Hello guys,

i am going to buy a crashed 2011 BMW 320d next week.

The car has only one halogen headlight, so I thought that instead of buying the one that is missing that I buy 2 original lci xenon/bixenon headlights with control module on ebay (german one).
Can i just swap the halogen for the xenon/bixenon, will it work? I also want the white rings instead of the ugly yellow ones.

Its not that easy, you need rewiring, coding, change vin in light module and if you want to go proper way you also need headlamps washers and autoleveling

Just a crazy idea: What if you bought the xenon lights, used the stock wiring and bulbs, and install a HID retrofit kit into that? It would be just like putting a HID kit into the halogens, but with the projectors of the xenon housings. It would require much less coding, if any at all, though you wouldn't be getting any fancy adaptive lighting features or anything.

Keep in mind that coding will be cheaper than buying special housing for aftermarket hid kit
