BMW LCI Halogen to LCI Xenon/Bixenon
Hello guys,
i am going to buy a crashed 2011 BMW 320d next week. http://home.mobile.de/LUTGENS-MAASTRICH#des_175155779 The car has only one halogen headlight, so I thought that instead of buying the one that is missing that I buy 2 original lci xenon/bixenon headlights with control module on ebay (german one). Can i just swap the halogen for the xenon/bixenon, will it work? I also want the white rings instead of the ugly yellow ones. Thanx in advance Last edited by Rancor; 03-03-2013 at 03:52 AM.. |

Just a crazy idea: What if you bought the xenon lights, used the stock wiring and bulbs, and install a HID retrofit kit into that? It would be just like putting a HID kit into the halogens, but with the projectors of the xenon housings. It would require much less coding, if any at all, though you wouldn't be getting any fancy adaptive lighting features or anything.
