This is good news. I like how the M-sport looks on the x3 so I hope this doesn't disappoint. Although I'm not really impressed with the wheel style... I think the current 18 inch wheel look nicer.

X1 M Sport
I sold my Porsche earlier this year to buy an X1 23d, why? (this is for those of you "who don't get it")...I live in South West of England, the roads are potholed, narrow, often covered in run off from fields, parking spaces are not wide, and multi story car parks in Bristol and Bath present a real threat to your expensive alloys........oh and then there is the aging population many of whom quite frankly should not be driving! Try keeping a quality car in good condition in those 'real world' conditions.
The X5 is too wide/high, but the X1 23d with sports suspension and all of the toys does the job. The problem is that is so different nobody really knows what it is. If you compare the performance/consumption figures with the Porsche Cayenne and other 'prestige' SUV's you will realise the the X1/X3 leave them a long way behind. I was going to get mine upgraded by AC Scnitzer next year but if these M Sport body panels are ok and they fit, then BMW will be requested to make the modifications. What I would really like is a three door version, with round wheel arches plus aero spoilers front and rear with real aluminium guards! Visualise it ? |

I like how they cover up the roundel on the hood as if the kidney grill isn't a dead giveaway. Are they thinking that people might confuse the X1 with this...

Thanks for the compliment, I just know how much better it could be as a three door version with M Sport panels!
All this talk of X4's has totaly confused me, let alone the hint of an X2...hopefully one of them will be a sports coupe version. If it is then I will have found my perfect car. I've had several requests for a shot of the interior of my X1 so here they are...enjoy |

The Informative site "Secret New Cars.com" has scooped the BMW X1 M-Sport Packet in Space Grey this time showcasing the 18" top-line 5-spoke wheel option for the X1 M-Sport.
The previous photographs had shown the other additional 17" multi-spoke wheel option. BMW X1 M-Sport will be officially announced soon. Last edited by SCOTT26; 10-22-2010 at 02:03 PM.. |

Yes it is. I believe it was rumored to be May or June 11 if someone else can confirm?

I agree. I wish they were just standard on all models. I think they really make the front look better whether they are on or off.
