Title transfer to CO with a lien?
Hey guys,
I just sold my car to a member in Denver, CO but the credit union he's working with wants me to send the title to them (the CU) before they send me a check (or wire transfer the money). It just seems odd to me - shouldn't the CU cut the check to the buyer so he (buyer) can send the money to me? Thanks in advance for any pointers. Holson

If you were dealing with a private seller who was making this request then I might be suspicious; but since it is a bank then you should be ok.
