Cleaning G80 pet peeves

For the most part I enjoy detailing my G80 but some things are super annoying.
1. Obviously the biggest issue is brake dust. Best solved by ceramic coat and low dust pads. Nonetheless there’s so many surfaces that they are still a pain to clean.
2. Dripping doors. The doors have open corners and drip forever after washing. Causes water stains on side skirts.

Anyone have a nifty solution for dripping doors?

3. Cleaning interior glass kinda sucks.

For the door drips I've used compressed air with a pointed nozzle and would run some air up into the drain holes at the bottom of the door. Don't know if the M has the holes (waiting for my first M3) but it worked on other cars I've owned

The dripping doors are especially annoying since they drip onto the black plastic side skirts. I usually just close a microfiber cloth in each door jam at the bottom after washing (an hour usually is enough time for the water to drain). Annoying indeed though.

i used the rag trick today but probably took 2h to stop dripping, i'd take the rags out go back 5min later and sure enough more drips. closing the door a few times helps. i'll try compressed air trick next time. i wonder if i can suck it out with a vacuum...

I always leave the doors and trunk open for a while as I dry the car and clean/detail the interior. It allows the drain channels to work properly and dry faster without dripping on the car. Not a 100% solution, more like 90%, but it sure helps on Black Sapphire Mettallic.

Depends the kind of towel/rag you use. I cut up an old larger thick drying microfiber into 4 pieces, and that cuts down on the time for sure. I tried compressed air...helped a little but I didn't have the time to do all of that. The microfiber is easy especially if you don't have anywhere to go right after.
