Spacer Problem
I recently installed a set of BMS spacers 10mm and 12mm for the rear
on my new set of wheels that are - 19X8.5 et 30 and 19X9.5 et 42 these are the same set of spacers that used on old set of wheels that were the same size but different offset 35 Rear 40 I now hear a flapping sound when I drive but goes away when i apply the brakes. One shop said that sounds like the bolts might be too long and are scraping, causing the flapping noise. Has anyone ever had this problem? |

this is possible since the wheel hub may be thinner than your previous wheels. Take off the spacers and go back to stock lugs and see if you still hear it. your extended bolts should only be longer than the stock bolts by the thickness of the spacer.

Did you ever figure this out? I have clicking noise coming from my 437M wheels I've been trying to figure out for a while now. When I switch back to stock wheels it goes away.

I have the M performance BBK kit with slotted/dimpled rotors. For me, it was the ceramic brakes pad and needed to switch back to OEM. Noise is gone. hopefully, this will help |

Gotcha, thank you. I'm getting new slotted rotors and pads put on this weekend so hopefully it goes away. Drives me nuts and keeps me from enjoying the car more.
