BMW no longer offering diesels to North American market. 540d extremely short run

Looks like this is quietly happening while BMW announces the X3M and X4M, amongst other models.

Anyone have any data on how many G30 540d's were actually sold in the U.S.? Also are any still for sale? Not that I'm ready to buy, but I think if you now own one of these cars, they could be valuable in the future. I dunno, just speculating.

How do you like it? Must be pretty sweet. How many miles of range do you get on one tank?

Love it. I can get 1000+ KM on a tank easily and I like to push the speed when I can.

LOL. Just went past the 50K mile mark. Nicely broken in and cared for. Drives planted and straight. Can drive it badass if necessary but I like the smooth endless power.

Had a E320 CDI and sold it to my German mechanic at 203K. His wife drove it over 350K with no serious problems.
