CAI vs. Drop in Filter

I have the UR CAI on order. I don't entirely understand if adding a drop-in filter is possible at all when you already have a CAI.

What is the purpose of the CAI that has a cone filter at the end (like the UR one) vs. a drop-in filter (like BMC one) and can these work together? Is it worth it?

so if you put a CAI in, do you remove the stock air box and a drop in filter is no longer required????

i prefer drop in filter (Yes, i tried HVI intake), drop in is more responsive in low rpm and more smooth.

Install the UR intake its the one that has made the most power. Drop-in dosent do anything.

maybe with tune and/or dp/exhuast/intercooler, this statement could be ture but just intake alone, difference is not ground-breaking while you get a NOTICEABLE sound difference though...

Drop in filters are used in conjunction with the stock air box (stock intake if you will). Our cold air intake system replaces the factory air box altogether. So no more need for a drop in filter.
