Window tinting mishap
Got my windows tinted last weekend. I brought in the car at 9:30am and didn't get it back until 5pm, but that's fine. What's not fine is that they scratched one of the windows!
I didn't check carefully when I picked up the car because they were closing. I found the scratch (about 3 inches long) on one of the small side windows when I got home, at first I thought it was bubbles or crease on the film. It didn't go away after two days then I realized it's on the window glass! Now they told me they were going to call the BMW center and order the glass. Hope it won't take too long. |

should I ask for some sort of compensation, maybe re-tint my car with their best film free of charge? LOL |

maybe ask for some kind of refund.... If the glass is scratched it most likely came from the tint installation...given that the car is new
I would stop by and show it to them and see what they say, but i wouldn't do a re-tint... unless you want another scratched window :-) Can't you use your insurance for the window? or throw a rock and make a rock chip in the glass :-D |

They are replacing your window no questions asked? What more do you want? Sh*t happens. I had my 335is two weeks and the tint shop smashed my driver window on accident. It sucked but they took care of it and we called it even.

guys, I was obviously kidding, didn't you see the big "LOL" at the end of that sentence? They were very prompt about getting it fixed with OEM glass. They guy said they wouldn't use aftermarket glass. So I'm all good as long as it gets fixed.
