Passenger Door Does Not Open Electronically

Hi,

My wife loves her 2013 BMW X1 but when we purchased it we knew that the passenger door would not open from the key fob.

The previous owner mentioned her child had spilled juice down the window and that's when the door stopped locking / unlocking electronically.

You can still unlock it manually but if you try from the key fob or from the central door button the door does not unlock / lock.

So I took the door panel off hoping to see a pile of juice on the door lock actuator and it seems pretty good. From the manual door lock I can open and lock the door easily

So before I start replacing the actuator is there another component I should check?

Anyone know what each of the wires on the 5 wire connector do?
