X1 E84 2010 Water leak
Hello, everybody.
I'm new here, creating a thread right out of the gate. As you probably can guess, I have a problem with my car, where I figured I'd ask the community for assistance (tried searching other threads, but could not find anyone with my exact issue) Recently my right side suspension coil spring, snapped and blew out my tire (the snapped part of the spring actually got stuck in the tire). Got both springs replaced, for the lovely sum of €1800 Figured I was good after this, picked up my car and went for a proper cleaning. Whilst cleaning the car, I noticed a water leakage from the passenger side dash, below the glove department. The silicone mat got filled with water, footwell on my side got wet as well. But could not see a visible leak there. I do not know where this leak is coming from, and what causes it (but it happened after my spring broke, and the car got repaired). I have no sunroof, and both front drain (thingys) under the windows is unclogged and clean. Cabin air filter as well. Any idea what might be causing this? Got a video + pics of the leak here, by the pictures it seems like the leak is coming from an module marked 'BFS'. Which stands for 'Passenger Seat Module', which again does not help me out a great deal :P https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...usp=drive_link Apologies for the dirty car, just got it from the shop was in the midst of a cleaning when this happened. All help is greatly appreciated. Hoping I do not have another costly repair on my hands, as the spring repair already set me back 21% of what I paid for the car. Have a nice day |

With no sunroof, and already checking the front drains and cabin filter, the only thing I know of left is the vapor barrier under the door panels, and/or the door drains.
