Occasional rough idle/Car stalls
My car has been having a weird oscillation and dying probably once a week. It will drop to 400RPM grumble and then just cut out in the same second. No codes being thrown no obvious signs except for the -when in park you can hear the engine oscillating a little strange, very faint.
I was going to replace my plugs and coils and see what the did. Any ideas what else to look for? Also happens when the is under heavy load, like turning the wheel all the way a direction, AC ON, and idling/moving. My second guess is fuel pump? |

My GF 2012 X1 28i did that for like a week at startup in 2 different years.
Car would idle rough when cold and stall if she would put it in drive too fast. The problem went away by itself, came back for a week the year after and never came back since then... weird |

No codes, just pull up to a stop light and slow down too fast.. it will hit the 600rpm and rough a little then die. Its happened like 4 times now in the last few weeks. Putting in new coils and plugs next week to see what that will do. And to everyone else, oddly, I dont have rough cold starts. If I do its for like 2 seconds at most. Crazy gremlins! |
