2014 x1 adding subwoofer

Step 1)
Buy this plug in play harness https://technicpnp.com/product-category/x1-e84/

2) connect the harness to factory amp on left side of the trunk remove liner
3) only one wire needed run to amp beside rca cables from that plug in play adapter a remote wire.
4) connect positive wire into battery and amp
5) connect negative wire to bolt on right side truck..in right truck liner.. and connect to amp.
6 ) connect speaker wires and done.
Amp hides perfect under trunk liner.

Hello, i am trying to do the same as you but i am having an issue. Where did find or connect the remote wire for the amplifier.

the Technic harness provides it....
