35i N55 oil pan gasket
Going to attempt to DIY this next month. Just curious if someone has done it before and have some tips. I will be getting motor mounts, control arms/tie rods, oil pan gasket/bolts, water pump/thermostat/hoses & seals/gasket for the axles.

You do need to drop the subframe. It really wasn’t that bad, I did have a engine support bar. (Bought it at harbor freight a while back for around $60-70) With the subframe out it made it super easy to replace the water pump. (There’s a plastic coolant hose that’s bolted to the subframe, make sure you remove the bolt that is holding it) I only removed the two bolts that is holding the steering rack and just moved it out of the way when dropping the subframe, you can remove the whole steering rack if you want too. I dropped the oil pan together with the front “diff”.
