Hood sensor

Hi all, First post. My X1 has a hood open warning after I change the radio. It is a radio from another car possibly E90. everything else is fine. I search for a possible sensor around the hood, latch, etc. but no luck. Do anybody know where it could be?

Found this on the TIS website: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...sensor/PJECH3g

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release catches (2) and feed bonnet/hood contact switch (3) in direction of arrow out of fixture (4).

Installation:

Make sure bonnet/hood contact switch (3) is correctly seated in holder (4).

Perhaps the hood sensor above is not your issue. The hood/bonnet/lid catches also appear to have a micro switch in them. Check out this link to the TIS website that might shed some light (you can follow the links at the top of the page and start over to enter your car's VIN so that you'll have the correct model...then type key words/phrases into the search box): https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...locks/BXGM3Gat

Here's one of multiple pics from the link above:

Release screws (1).

Catch with microswitch:
Detach plug connection from microswitch.
