Are my headlights damaged?

So, just like the title said, I am not sure if they damaged or what.

You can see this mico dots just from looking it from the side when you look directly at them they look "perfect".

They are not foggy...
On the picture is the same headlight but from different corners

Anybody knows what this is...

Something doesnt look right in the 2nd and 4th pic. It's like the light is not continuous.

Is it possibly just road salt or other debris on the headlights??? I can see the same looking pattern and discoloration on your paint, above the lights, in the first picture.....

I have a 2011 UK spec model and my headlights are the same. It doesn't seem to affect the light coming out of them.

That is in the polycarbonate not on the outside of the cover. My 2013 looks the same and it doesn’t effect the light output.

So a refinish kit wouldn't clear up the "pitting" that you can see? That's good (but aggravating) information.

FYI, my lights look the same. From owning multiple cars for extended periods, I assumed it was just air/dust/sand rash and could be wet sanded clear.

@Xdrive35i2014, I think pictures 2 and 4 the light looks off because of the angle of the pictures, BTW.

Had the same "micro dots", they were inside. My BMW extended warranty was almost over and I was able to new ones under warranty.
