It's funny, back in the day I enjoyed Extreme. Wasn't a huge fan, but I usually didn't want to flip the station when they came on. When I heard that Gary Cherone had joined Van Halen post Sammy, I thought it would be a decent fit. Man, was I wrong. Maybe it was how they mixed, but that whole experiment was awful to me. He was on an episode of Rock and Roll Roadtrip, and I enjoyed that, too. Hard tellin' what happened with VH.

Totally agree. That was NOT Van Halen. Honestly they weren't VH after David Lee Roth though I did still like some of the stuff they did with Sammy.

I'm like that with some rock bands that don't quite fit in with me,I'll listen but always hanker for the one's that set my head moving.
