This rating needs to be juxtaposed against the following 3 questions:

Which of these wouldn't you consider owning?

Which of these wouldn't you rent?

Which of these would be caught dead in even if it was the only ride out of the Zombie Apocalypse?

This needs to be done and weighted, statistically, against the ratings to come up with a true picture of the situation. The Toyota owner will put up with a lot of crap that the BMW, especially high-end BMW owner won't put up with. Hell, I will barely drive non-///M cars as it is.
