Improving ride quality at 100k miles
I'm at 107k on my x1 35 and it's starting to feel like sloppy steering with some vibration in the wheel and seat at 80+. The shocks and struts seem fine for now until I upgrade them probably next year.
I run brand new pilot super sports. I had the steering rack replaced under warranty at 45 or 50k miles. What else can I look into replacing to get some of that new car smoothness and tightness back. As well as higher speed stability. Not trying to go crazy with it but I want to make it a joy to drive again. Just not sure what parts to start with. |

Thanks will do. Anything else to check while in there? I think motor mounts and transmission mounts are probably okay but I'll see if I can get them checked out eventually.

I agree with the alignment recommendation. also hopefully the tires are balanced since they're new? If not they can cause a lot of shaking. Why was the steering rack replaced at such a low mileage, btw? Factory defect?
