X1 35i Exhaust Options?
I've been searching the forums for a while, and I can't seem to find much info. What are the options available for 2013-2015 35i?
There's tons of information on downpipes, but not much on Exhaust systems. |

I have seen that some people modify 135i exhausts. I haven't ever spent any time researching this personally. After you go catless the car will be loud enough for most people.

Supersprint makes one. And if you have the MSport, they make one for that bumper.
https://www.supersprint.com/ww-en/bm...2012-2015.aspx It’s carried in the US by Turner and ECS Tuning. My understanding is the Dinan exhaust for the 135i fits exactly as well.

I recall reading about the 135i exhaust being a tad too short for the X1. It's posted somewhere here on the forums.
OP, your best bet will be a custom exhaust using the stock unit. Look for a place that specializes in TIG welding and mandrel bends, as those kind of shops tend to do a much cleaner job. |

I had the resonator cut out a few years ago. Very cost effective, no drone, and plenty aggressive sounding for my taste. Not sure what you're looking for OP, but I've been happy with it.

Get a downpipe. No exhaust needed, it gets what you need if you want some noise. Keep the cat-back portion.

I agree, the downpipe is loud enough with a stock exhaust. It has a very deep rumble without being overly raspy - it also gives way to add performance options.

I put in a catless downpipe, got rid of the secondary cats, and recently added a muffler from an N55 135i. The pipe leading up to the muffler is slightly different but the muffler itself fits. The tips are just barely shorter and a bit closer together, but not enough to bother me. Now it finally sounds like my old N55 135i, and I love it!

I have an MHD back-end flash along with my JB4, so it takes care of the codes.
