2015 Sport Line
Just picked up my 2015 Sdrive today ... Alpine White Sport Line with red leather interior and all options except cold weather package. Big surprise ... I had ordered a 2014, but got a 2015 since I ordered in Feb.
The bad part ... I lost $1,000 of incentives offered on the 2014 so the lease payments are a little bit higher. The good part ... the dealer honored the price and delivered to my house. The differences: - Dash with red stitching really complements the red leather - Red color line accent also complements the red leather - Exterior has X-line-type accents on front, back and sides in gloss black to match the mirrors ... really sharp Overall a really crisp package ... all it needs is window tint. |

My 2015 X1 sDrive28 Sport Line is set for PDC delivery on May 13th. I ordered in on March 15th. White, coral red leather, Premium and Cold Weather Package(s). It has piano black trim and CR highlights.
H & R Sport Springs and McNeil cargo mat await its arrival. I'll probably tint the lightest possible. It NEEDS a sport exhaust system.... Great minds think alike, but its cold up here in New England! |

I ordered an M-sport with the red interior and am hoping the dash with red stitching is something that happens to go on the car. I wish the M-sport had the option of the dash trim with the red accent.

Sport Line
Justin,
This is a quote from the catalogue "In Sport Line, the Soft-Touch upholstered instrument panel is edged in Fire Red contrast stitching, which emphasises this equipment package's sporty appearance" It does look really sharp and the seats and headrests are double stitched in contrasting red or black. The black floormats are edged in red. |

OOPS!!
Sorry,
I mis-read your post. The M-Sport with Coral Red leather apparently has silver grey overstitching on the dash instead of red as the Sport Line does. |

Where did you find a catalog/brochure? I'm ordering a 2015 and can't seem to find one anywhere.

Initial impressions are positive, but some reservations. Given that I'm comparing it to an E39 M5 and an '09 Mini Cooper S, I may have a few pre-conceived notions about what to expect.
Overall, I really like the car; however, I 'm not so positive on the drivetrain programming, except in manual mode: - EcoPro - Awful in town, and that's a compliment ... may be OK on the highway - Drive - Shifts too soon, lugs a lot and about as much fun as a Prius - Sport - Much better, but still shifts too soon ... better, but not great - Sport Manual - Did I say that I love this transmission! Awesome! Guess I'll never see the top mileage ratings. Not a problem ... I'll enjoy the car. Great handling ... steering feel is great (sorry MT, R&T, etc.) ... nice ride ... it's a BMW through and through. |

Regarding the M Sport ... I requested a back-to-back test drive of a Sport Line and M Sport before ordering. I found the M Sport to be a bit too hard riding for me and the Sport lie to be about right.
Given that my baseline is an E39 M5 with a Dinan Stage 1 suspension ... I went with the Sport line. An M235i might be a different proposition. |

A few pics ... finally. Sorry about the background, but it's been raining since I got the car.
The red stitching over the instruments and red color line accent on the dash really complements the red leather. The exterior has accents on front, back and sides in gloss black match the mirrors. This was a feature I didn't expect since it doesn't show up on the BMW site and was not noticeable on the darker colors. |

Picked up my 2015 last week also, xLine though, not sport line. I'm getting it opti-coated and tinted this week, after which I'll post a ton of actually good pics, in the mean time here are some crappy ones in terrible light and a dirty car of the 2015 interior changes in an xLine.

Very nice ride! I really like BMW's based off the previous generation platform (E90's).
I'm just curious as why BMW doesn't offer same body color side mirrors |

Thanks for posting photos guys!! And beautiful detail photos scottomfg!! Did you shoot those with an SLR? The dash really does seem to be upgraded from 2014. I like the metal trim on the hatch, hope our 2015 M Sport comes that way. I also really like how the Terra Leather is brought up into the dash on the XLine . And great color combos too!! Congratulations to you both!!

And, that terra that comes up on the dash is sadly very much NOT leather--it's hard plastic, though visually pretty convincing, and perfectly color-matched. The new covering on instrument hood is not leather either, but is a very nice soft touch material.

After seeing that updated dash, I might have to make a visit to my parts lady to see if I can update my '14.
