Personally, I think both cars, X1 and X3 were designed for the feminine buyers and the 3, 5 and X5 series has the man looks.

That is my impression, that is all.

FYI, I wish the X3 was more man style so I could have one in my garage.
The X3 in person looks like a mini X5 and isn't that much smaller. With the M sport package it looks really aggressive. It is my wife's car but I love driving it. As a brand BMW seems more geared towards men and I think Audi more towards women. Mercedes is for old people and slow ass drivers who don't know anything about cars (some AMGs excluded, haha).

X5 and X3 look damn similar to me. The X3 has a nice aggressive look with the M-sport package. New X3 has "man style", unlike the last girly X3.

X3 M-sport and X5M side by side (looks like a mini-X5M):

With M Sport these X cars look very agressive
X1 28i might be the perfect combo for this model: N20 has enough power and paired with the 8 speed sport auto the fuel consumption is great too!
In Europe this model is quite expensive but it can be imported from U.S. once it's available
I don t see the advantage of a diesel engine over 28i version in U.S

You see... all woman love the X3, but you also like to drive it, how many of you had your wife saying "I want that M3" or the 550i or "I need an X6".
Man buy the X3 as they need the space and they may not have the X6 money neither they want to pay so much on gas then the X3 makes sense BUT... They are not in love with the car, also the dashboard of that car is not a 5 or a new 3 series.

That is all.

I like the X1 with or without the M-Sport package but with it on, it look like a character that would be in the movie Cars when you look at it straight on at the front. lol

Anyone know if they offer a panorama sunroof on the X1? If they have that option, I'm sold! I love this X1, cant wait for it to come to the states!

Tell me about it. Ran in to a pothole before I had a chance to break from 30mph and after about 300', TMPS went off. Pulled over expecting to see a bubble blow-out. Nope. Freaking rim cracked/dented on the inside. Freaking Awesome.........!

Do you prefer to ride high? Why would you by an X1 over the F31? Since you love your 5 wagon, I would think you would replace it with a new wagon, not an SUV (SAV). Just curious....

I'm loving this bad boy more and more the more I look at it. I think I just might have found my wife's new car to trade in the 328 coupe for.

Lovin' how small the X1 is when seen side-by-side with a X3. Just might have to add a X1 to the stable to sit beside my 128i! It's weird that this is the LCI model and yet so much of the interior is current-gen (U.S.) 1-series.
