This. If TB was not our QB I would have hated him.

Same reason I give Peyton Manning shit. For winning.

I have watched more TB games unwillingly than most. Stats don't mean squat. Very rarely did TB's play impress. Majority of his passes were 5yds to Welker, Edelman, etc. Always had top notch TEs. Always had incredible offensive lines with perhaps the best protection, he would just sit there with so much time and the WRs made him look good. Horrible out of the pocket. Ran like my grandma. Belichick is the majority of the reason TB is considered great. How could the Pats TB teams be so great with practically no running game every year... the system. Throw stats, win, or rings or whatever, none of that can dispute the above.

As far as skill & talent for GOAT QB, TB isn't even close to top 5.

You are delusional.

TB has more game winning drives than any other QB. Game winning drives are super impressive and fun to watch. literal edge of your seat action that you talk about at the office watercooler the next day.

Did this not impress you:

Every SB win for TB was, for the most part, close.

When TB had a HOF WR AKA Randy Moss they set records and had some of the most fun offensive football to watch for a few seasons. TB NEVER had true HOF WR talent unlike say Peyton who had two HOF WRs most of his career.

Yeah, just stop, not worth it. Like I said, those who debate are haters or they don't know shit about football. His favorite team no doubt plays in the AFC East.

TB is the greatest, but Atlanta CHOKED that and opened the door for the Pats to come back (and yes yes, TB/etc did amazingly to do that, but the door was opened by the stupid playcalling of the Falcons). That was Football 101, you don't shotgun and fall back to lose yards, you at least stay put and kick the easy 3, game over, no chance. Something was srsly not right that SB for whatever reason.

Agree. That's Kyle Shanahan. That was the first red flag for me. He's exhibited more choker behavior since taking the job in SF. It plays out every year. It's shocking that you can see it from the couch.

Instead, the Vikes expended all their energy in the Minneapolis miracle game in the divisional round, got routed by the Eagles in the NFC champ game, and have not been the same since. It was painful watching the Eagles win the superbowl in my home town but I respected it because it was their year to win being the best team.

now hold on here. Tom Brady has the 2nd most receiving yards for a player over 40. You dont get that kind of stat by being a shitty WR.

while we're at it, he also has the most rushing TDs for a player over 40 and the 2nd most yards. Dude went from elite, pocket passing QB to a legit triple threat QB in his 40s.

Was one example w Jimmy GQ in the SB? That was another winnable one they lost the lead in iirc. I distinctly remember they put Montana on the spot, viewers were watching alongside w him for the whole game, poor guy had to be diplomatic but I'm sure he was dying inside when the Chiefs took the lead and won.

Yes, the SB is one of many examples. They should've never lost to the fuckin Chiefs. The clock management just before halftime was the beginning of the end of that game. It was blunder after blunder. He got outcoached by Steve Spagnuolo. The way he managed the minutes just before haltime against GB was eerily similar. These missteps have occurred too many times and I'm waiting for the mainstream media to pick up on it. They're all captivated by how much of a "genius" he is and they skip over how small he comes up in big moments. Well, Detroit is coming to town and they're hungry. This is your chance to get in your bag and not screw this up.

The Cheater is off to LA. Wouldn't be surprised if the NFL suspends him for the first half of the season or more.

NFL did something similar to Jim Tressel over something far less shitty (players sold rings and merch in exchange for tattoos) that wouldn't have any affect on a single game...can't say the same for Harbaugh.

Should be an interesting next 2-4 months to say the least.

49ers vs Lions should be a great game this Sunday. In the other game, I am expecting Ravens to win.

Now that Harbaugh is going to Chargers. How long before media starts the Harbaugh back to college rumors? 1 maybe, 2 seasons.

Ravens main opponent will be the refs.

Lions number 2 ranked run defense has to show up, because their pass defense rank is one of the worst in NFL. They have to be able to stop Mcaffrey without stacking the box.

There are several matchups in the NFC Championship game in focus. The run defense ranking for the Lions is an interesting one in that it can be misleading. I would like to know how they fare against zone run concepts because that's what SF runs. I don't think there's a team in the NFL who runs it better - maybe Miami? Another point of focus will be the Lions banged up offensive line. The starting RG is out and the C is not at 100%. They run 5-0 protection almost exclusively. Will they continue that approach? If so, doubtful that bodes well for them against SF's defensive front. You will leave too many of your guys in 1:1 situations with very good defensive linemen. And finally, there's pass defende for SF. Does SF protect Ambry Thomas? He's a liability in pass coverage. Does Charvarius Ward follow Amon St. Brown the entire game as he has with D.K. Metcalf? Would love to see a match up of good on good. Anyhow, this will be a good one.

Mmmhmm....the same Drew Brees who says he literally can't even throw with his right arm anymore because of his dislocation in 2005 with the Chargers. Yeah, you are the expert.

Never said Brady didn't audible or change plans, every quarterback ever has done that. Wait until he is a color commentator, I think that will explain a lot about what I mean. He sure as hell isn't Peyton Manning studying film.

You guys aren't able to separate success from skill apparently......they are different.

yes brees 15+ years after his dislocation cant throw, as evident by the huge drop off his final couple season. but to say he didnt have elite arm talent all those years in NO is asinine. He was one of the best deep ball QBs in the league during his prime in NO.

9ers defense, o-line and the kicker is so bad it hurts my eye. They can't tackle for shit, letting people run through, o-line can't block shit, Purdy under pressure all game, and Jake Moody costing us all the easy point. These softass mofos don't deserve to go to the superbowl.
