Wheel help 35i m sport
So im not sure how to calculate the whole 1% thing so just thought id ask
I found these wheels i really like on marketplace and just trying to see if they would mess with my xdrive or not Currently i have 225/40/19 fronts 255/35/19 rears And the new ones are 255/35/19 fronts 275/35/19 rears He says they are for f80 m3/m4 pic is attached |

Those will mess with the xdrive system, they are the same ratio with a 20mm width difference. For future reference you can check here- https://tiresize.com/comparison/
Honestly imo the easiest is to go with a square set.

Need to check offsets and circumference... lots of sources for tire calculators...
You don't need a square set up but you do need proper circumference... OEM has staggered setups |

You of course don't NEED a square setup- I just said that in my opinion, it's easier. And for most people it is. Unless you are sticking with a OEM xdrive staggered setup and tire size, it can become a headache sourcing wheels with the proper width/offset and running same circumference tires.
I have run 5 sets of different wheels in the almost 10 years of owning this car. By far, the best have been the square setups. I run 18x9 ET22, and there is room to go wider front and rear with the proper offset, if desired. Obviously OP should do what they want, I'm just saying that a square setup can be a good choice for someone that wants to pick new wheels they like and then forget it. You can also rotate them front to back.
