New Tires causing stutter/ jerk

I just put new winter tires on my 2012 28i Xdrive- went from the factory 18" staggered setup to 225/50R17 all around.

Now I'm having an issue that feels like an XDrive issue. When I come to a complete stop there is a jerk right as I go from about 5kph to zero. Almost feels like the last kick from shifting from 2nd to 1st right at that point. But it does the same thing if I shift manually and am already in 1st when I come to a stop.

Also, at highway speeds if I accelerate quickly the car feels very much like it is mis-firing constantly. Multiple stutters as I get into the pedal. If I accelerate slowly and smoothly it seems fine.

I've checked the air pressure in all 4 tires and all the tread depths look right. I did reset the trans adaptations. (Car in run position, engine off and foot on gas for 30 seconds). This seems to have mostly resolved the issue coming to a stop (can still barely feel it), but the stutter as I get up to speed is still present.

Anyone have any insight on this?? I've seen many posts of people with similar sounding issues, but never any that have seen a resolution. Surely, this must be something that has been solved.

Thanks for the help!

My sDrive18i 6 speed AT is having the same problem right now, and interestingly it happened after I replaced my old tires as well. Old tires were 225/45R18, changed to the new bigger ones 225/50R18. I wish I could go back and put my old tires back just to confirm, but I already threw them out.

I would like to hear other inputs as well, because so far I've been thinking it might have come from the engine or transmission issue, and fixing either one of them is definitely bad news.

New tires slip for a while, especially new tires and its cold out. Turn off the traction control and see if you have the same issue.

Did you by any chance figure out what's wrong with your car? I went to my dealer and they diagnosed mine as coil issue, wanted me to change all 4, which I refused, because I thought it could also be caused by my battery that's almost at its lifecycle.
