2012 Canadian x line package

Hey guys I'm a proud new owner of a 2012 x1 28 x drive.

I have 2 questions.

It seems the front silver lip on my Canadian x line differs from the 2015 version, can I install the 2015 front bumper trim on the x line package? I have attached the front picture of my vehicle and the part I wish to install.

Second question is - anyone sell a FMIC for the N20 on the e84 x1?

IIRC I don;t think so because the pre-LCI X1 doesn't have the side bumper grilles that the LCI models do.

At the beginning I wanted to do the same. After that I realized that my front lip looks better and 3M can not be perfectly molded on the new lip. So I kept the car as is and is beautiful.

BTW, watch your engine and mileage as the N20 has a big chain problem. My engine was replaced with a new engine at 80,000 km (and $27,000). Just saying...

We love the car though and we are keeping it as long as it runs.

I'm pretty sure in the second picture the black textured plastic piece has a different part number than the actual silver lip itself, but it seems like that picture has the 2 parts attached already.
