Filmy buildup on bottom inside of windshield
Are any of you guys getting a filmy buildup at the bottom on the inside of your windshield, particularly during the hotter months when you use your AC?
Looks like condensation, but never dries or goes away until you wash the glass. I don't know if maybe it's my cabin filter or maybe AC is blowing some residue from the upper ports? I don't smoke, never have. |

Your dash is probably gassing out causing the film. It's worse in hot weather because heat causes the vinyl to gas out more.

Yes my car will get this all over the inside of the windshield when I use an air freshener. The oils from the air freshener collect on the hotter glass and leave behind that brown residue. So I stopped using them and it went away. Hope that will help

Mine does this too. No air freshener ever. I park outside, and the sun here is brutal. I even use a windshield sunscreen, but the residue always comes back.
