Tracking X1 to Australia
Hi all, I ordered an X1 in February and was keen to track its voyage to Australia, but unlike the US we cannot track the cars progress through the BMW website. So for anyone wanting to track their car from the Port in Germany:
Go to the Wallenius Wilhelmsen shipping company website : http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/ In the bottom right hand corner click on the 'track and trace' button, then in the 'cargo ID' section put the VIN number of your new X1. This will give you the ship, voyage number, departure date etc. You can then go onto the marine traffic website: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/ put in the vessel name and track it across the globe. This is just one way I have found, if there are other ways of tracking your BMW please let me know. My X1 20d will be arriving in Australia on 18th of June, then a couple of weeks later I hope to be driving it !!! |

That should give me something else to watch whilst I wait! I'm guessing mine's in the same shipment. What ship, voyage number, etc is yours on. I don't have a VIN for mine.

My X1 is on the ship "BOHEME" voyage number: CO113-BOH .It is currently off the west coast of Africa, due in Port Kembla on 18th June. If you call your dealer they will have the VIN number of your new car. |
