Whine on acceleration/when building boost
I have a 2015 X1 xDrive28i on JB4 Map 2 and one day after doing a pull, what appears to be my turbo makes this strange whining noise (almost like a supercharger) when accelerating hard or flooring it (can also hear it when parked and revving it high in the RPM range). I just replaced the charge pipe and boost pipe and the noise is still there. I have no reduction in performance or any engine codes. It sure doesn't seem like my turbo is blown, but does anyone have any idea why it's making this noise?
