n55 x1 xhp flash?

I have a '14 35i m-sport. I'm super interested in the xhp trans flash. will I only need the obd2 and license to do this? and how difficult is the process? this would be my first time doing anything like that.

recommended to hook up a battery tender and take it easy on the tranny for the first 25-50 miles for it to relearn adaptations

Yes all you need is the OBD2 cable and their app to flash the car. The process is pretty straightforward. There are certain things to watch out for during the flash. Once the flash has started do not open the door or mess with anything on the car. Make sure things like climate controll, heated seats, and headlights are off. You should hook up a battery charger to the car during the flash. My charger does 2,10, and 50 amps. I found the 10amp to be the ideal setting.

I purchased their super license. It is nice to be able to switch between stage 2 and stage 3. Using their customization module I was able to change the shift points to better line up with the PS2 turbo upgrade. I also lowered the shift points for sport mode which make it more usable.

I don't have emissions testing here and there is no CEL because of MHD flash time options. I will say I was surprised at how quiet it still was. My 335i didn't have secondary cats so the car was louder. I would say this is only slightly louder than forcing the exhaust valve open at all times. Cold start is louder for sure but not bad.
