2013 X1 xDrive 35i M Package Tires and Wheels sizing

Hello All,

seeking wisdom here from All of you experts. I'm about to have to replace my tires, but I'm deciding if I should stick to 19" or if I should go down to 18". The dilemma is the following, I'm currently using 225/40 R19 (rear) and 255/35 R19 (front) run-flats, I wouldnt mind staying with the 19" but I want thicker look. Now, I would like to go down to 18" , looking for the thick look, meaning wider tire on the back with not so low profile, but still low profile but not as much and non-run flats. What would be the best size to use?

I hope I'm making sense.

I'm not too knowledgable when it comes to specs, I'm mostly about looks.

Thank you in advance for all the knowledge shared here.

Cheers,

Yoshi

These two posts will offer a lot of knowledge on this topic...

I would go with the 18's and you can run 245/45/18 all day without any problems or rubbing issues

bassrebel thank you much for the quick response. Greatly appreciated. I will go for 18" in order to have more rubber, mind you, I love the way it rides right now but the run-flats don't last that long, pricey, and I also want the thicker look with tires... I also don't want to risk the specs of it.

thanks again bassrebel

Did you stay with the 19s?
Looking at 235/40 and 265/35 wondering if this is the best choice.
Let me know if you found something.
