13 x28, what to look for?

Does anyone have a buyers guide for these cars? I'm going to look at a 2013 x28 this weekend with 91,000 miles. Wondering what I should be looking for. Price is 13,172 out the door according to the dealer that it's at - not sure how I feel about the price yet but it's the only orange one listed within 500 miles of me and that's what the lady wants

Any insight is appreciated

It's just me, but I'd never buy any BMW with those kind of miles and certainly not for $13K

If you really want to do it though, it's certainly not worth more than about $10K

Check KBB or whatever used car value sites out there.

Does it have the features you want? For me, my must haves were:

Comfort Access
Xenon
Sport seats
iDrive
maybe others... too.

N20 is generally a good reliable engine. It is used in all manners of BMW model range. The timing chain guide failure is statistically minute and I wouldn't worry about it. General BMW maladies are water pump and thermostat failures. Check for signs of abuse.

Reliability is the main thing I'm asking about and how disable things are/if there are any glaring problems with the car

I personally hate idrive and I'm glad this car doesn't have it, does have heated seats and wheel which she wants, and the premium package

My 2013 has 149k totally trouble free miles. But I do think your price is too high. These cars do not have great resale value.
