2014 X! Mass air flow sensor

Do I have to use genuine BMW for this sensor? Or can I use an aftermarket? The price difference is hundreds. Please advise.

If it's compatible, you can use it. Whether or not you want to, though, is up to you.

Do a search for anyone that's used the specific make part you are looking at to see if they had any issue(s).
